Dear FearCon friends,
the last preparations for the horror event 2017 are in full swing and we are looking forward to seeing you soon for a horrific weekend with star-studded cast.
Unfortunately, there is also sad news. We lost Meg Foster, Traci Lords, Julian Sands and William Sadler from our guest list.
Instead of giving a flimsy reason or posting this here without comment (which often leaves room for false speculation), you deserve the open truth.
It is the case that it was necessary to adjust the star guest budget due to the good but still developable number of applications. But as you can see on the current program, this doesn’t really have any influence on our full and interesting potpourri of star guests from all horror areas, lectures, screenings and special events.
